WIRELESS NEWS: Cities cannot be world-class without WiFi

Daily Wireless News & Updates.- You can't be a world-class city if you don't have WiFi. Boston, which has long resisted efforts to create a muni-WiFi network, announced a task force that Mayor Thomas Menino said would "make Boston a world leader in wireless Internet access." Apparently, many business and academic folks have been unhappy with Boston's previous lack of enthusiasm for WiFi and negatively compared Boston with cities that are more aggressive in deploying WiFi, such as Philadelphia and San Francisco.
